Hi, Hello, Howdy, or as us Millennials know best, Whaaaazzzzuuupp?! My name is Alex and I am the person behind of the scenes of R Little Company. From designs, printing, shipping, emails, taking the trash out, and everything else in between, I'm here.

I was often asked why I wanted to pursue a career in design. The answer was simple: I always aimed to create designs that would bring joy and happiness to people's lives, especially in the face of the negativity that surrounds us. I never wanted to settle for just another "job" - I wanted to create something that truly made an impact on others when they saw it.

In 2015, I graduated with a BFA in graphic design and marketing and hit the ground running for a job opening to finally start my real career path. However after months of searching, interviews, and “thanks, but no thanks” emails, it was time to pull a ‘Ross’ and, “PIVOT”.

My family had a vision of combining my dad’s sales experience, my design skills, and my mom's creativity to create marketing materials for others. The name "R Little Company" was inspired by the first initial of my dad’s name, with the added symbolism of our family working together to bring their vision to life. However, my “little” t-shirt printing business, soon grew from a side hustle to a full-blown business. Sorry Mom and Dad, I was now running the show.

I always had a deep passion for self-expression through art. It was a way to put how you felt into the world in any form you wanted. So why not be able to wear it? My goal was to design t-shirts that gave people the freedom to express themselves in any situation. T-shirts are a way to communicate without saying a word. Probably why this introvert has a hoard of graphic tees in her own personal wardrobe (just a hunch).

I wanted to create a one-stop-shop for people of all sizes, where everyone could find something that made them feel confident and comfortable. The best part of my job is seeing people light up when they wear one of my designs. I love knowing that I can help people feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin no matter the occasion. I know what it was like to be the outcast, the one who couldn’t find her size in her friends stores, the one who was judged for the things that made her happy. I want everyone to know and feel that they are welcomed here — everyone deserves to have awesome clothes, no matter their size, shape, or interests.

Today, R Little Company has expanded to include a wide range of garments, stickers, and can coolers, with plans to bring more products to the shop in the near future. Our motto, "expression through printing," reflects our mission to help people show off their true selves in the most fun and creative way possible.
